Support for Your Guests

04

We’ll design a personalized wedding website for you, including all the details your guests need, plus a booking form.

You’ll receive notifications whenever a guest books their trip!

Create Your Wedding Website

03

Once you’ve chosen a resort and confirmed your wedding date, we’ll finalize a room block contract.

Most resorts require a $100 deposit per room to reserve inventory, which will go toward your own room reservation.

Example: Holding 35 rooms would require a $3,500 deposit, applied toward your room cost. If your room costs less, you’ll get a refund for the difference.

Don’t worry—there are no penalties for unused rooms, and we’ll guide you through this step!

Secure Your Wedding Date & Room Block

02

We’ll start by researching together to narrow down resorts based on your preferences.

Once we’ve shortlisted 2–3 resorts, we’ll connect you with the wedding teams to learn more about each option.

From there, we’ll request room block proposals with detailed rates for your review.

 Frequently Asked Questions

01

How much do your services cost?

Zero! We do not charge for our services.

02

When should we start booking?

As soon as possible! Couples usually book anywhere from 1-2 years before their wedding date.

03

What is the difference between a travel agency and wedding planner?

We are a destination weddings travel agency meaning that we help you find where you want to get married, we help you get in touch with the weddings teams at the resort and we are your support or advocate throughout the wedding process. We handle your guests' room reservation, coordinating their transportation and handling all travel and resort questions. A wedding planner focuses specifically on decor and logistics of your wedding day.

04

Which locations are the most popular?

Mexico including Cancun, Riviera Maya, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, Playa & Costa Mujeres, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo as well as the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

05

What does it cost to have a destination wedding?

The cost for a destination wedding varies depending on the resort, amount of guests and your vision. We usually see weddings costing around $12,000 - $40,000 so there is a big range.

06

Do you create a website for guests to book accomodations?

Absolutely! We create a wedding website where your guests can book their room and find out all of the details regarding your wedding, the resort and deadlines.

12+ MONTHS BEFORE

  • Work with your travel agent on signing the room block - this should be done as soon as you lock in your wedding date.
  • Send out your invites as soon as your wedding date is secured and your wedding website is ready.
  • Decide on a budget for the wedding.
  • Make sure that you have your passport.
  • Start deciding where and when you will get legally married prior to your destination wedding (you can have some fun with this!).
  • Plan and decide on the location of your bachelorette / bachelor party (priorities!)
  • Start researching photographers, videographers, hair/makeup artists and any other outside vendors you plan to use. Book these as soon as possible. We highly suggest booking a photographer outside of the resort.
  • Pick your bridal party.
  • If you plan to hire an outside wedding planner, now is the time to do it!
  • Say yes to the dress! You can start as early as you want! Ideally you will want to have your dress purchased no later than 8 months before the wedding as you want to give yourself time for alterations.

8 – 10 MONTHS BEFORE

  • Put your flights into google flights to start tracking prices.
  • Start working on a vision board that you can share with your wedding coordinator.
  • Begin deciding what your bridesmaids and groomsman's will wear.

4 – 6 MONTHS BEFORE

  • Start deciding and planning any additional events (welcome cocktail party, rehearsal dinner, day-after brunch). Contact the weddings team if you want to add more events at an additional cost. Let us know if you need help with this!
  • Plan other activities such as a catamaran (highly recommended) or maybe a golf day.
  • Begin purchasing any decor or wedding favors that you plan to bring with you. Etsy is amazing for this!
  • Book your flights!
  • Start planning your honeymoon.

2 – 3 MONTHS BEFORE

  • Finalize the guest list. You may use your rooming list from your agent to help.
  • Select final décor through the wedding catalogues.
  • Share with the coordinator any songs requested for the ceremony & reception. Feel free to ask for a meeting with the DJ!
  • Finalize the seating chart and send to the wedding coordinator.

1 MONTH BEFORE

  • Confirm all décor, flowers, etc with the coordinator.
  • Confirm the timeline on the wedding day with your coordinator and your photographer.
  • Send the guest list of those not staying at the resort to the wedding coordinator (additional cost may apply).
  • Make sure the wedding coordinator has your final guest list, seating charts, DJ form and day of timeline. They will let you know any additional details needed.
  • Start a packing list.

UP TO 1 WEEK BEFORE

  • Start packing!
  • Organize a wedding day emergency kit.
  • Make sure you have your dress and tux ready to go.
  • Schedule your meeting with your onsite wedding planner.
  • Put together tips for vendors in individual envelopes.
  • Pack your passports.
